-larzipan- posted a photo: After a rather painful crash riding Brothers Creek I spent the first 6 days of my vacation relaxing with my friend Nikta in New Denver. She’s been working hard on her garden and grows a huge selection of organic vegetables and the most delicious strawberries you could ever hope to wrap your face around. Every meal included something from her garden. After a few days of recuperation I took a couple of rides up Idaho Peak to test out my leg. It turned out that it was perfrectly fine for riding, it would just ache afterwards so I said screw it, let’s ride and I bid Nikta, Chris and Sylus and their lovely dogs Max, Mischa and Casius a fond farewell and I headed south of the border. My first destination: the Kettle Crest Trail
